Once upon a time way back in 1972 William Crowther working in a computer firm did not know that he would create history and would be remembered for time immemorial as the father of adventure sports. He developed a cave exploration game which wanted the player to find a path to come out of it. Well, way back these games were mostly played on text’s but now things are online.

Adventure games are puzzles set in twisted mazes with a story to tell. They have elements of exploration and mystery, rather than action and actual combating. The focus here is more on solving the mystery rather than the action sequence involved.

Adventure games are more fun based set of games, safe to play. The puzzles are set in a narrative pattern which tells us a story and at every level there are rules and regulation to help you overcome those hurdles. There are adventure games which have war scenario and sexually explicit matter but they are solely restricted for the adults. These games are very informative and teach time management to the children and at the same time are completely devoid of violence. There are certain role playing adventure games too in which the players assume the role of the rescuer and has to extract himself from a complex situation. In all the drama and tricks involved in solving the puzzles of adventure games are its TRP’s.
